Control & governance

The admin surfaces that make Kai auditable. Every action Kai takes is logged, and you can see, search, and override it.

Control center

The Control tab is the admin view across the workspace. It shows:

  • The full task log, every operation Kai ran, with status, inputs, outputs, and the conversation that produced it.
  • Recent overrides, every time you corrected something Kai did, with the reason recorded.
  • System health: how close you are to your monthly usage limit, whether your MiniApps are running normally, and whether your GitHub connection is still active.

Admin-only. Members of the workspace don't see Control unless their role grants admin scope.

Task log vs Automations tab

Everyone on the team sees the Automations tab, the task list scoped to their own work and shared workflows. Control is the workspace-wide superset: every task across every user, with the additional ability to retry, cancel, or audit anything.

Kai Memory

Inspect what Kai remembers. Memory is grouped into four types:

  • User. Facts about each user's role, goals, knowledge.
  • Feedback. Guidance you've given Kai about how to approach work.
  • Project. Current initiatives, deadlines, who's doing what.
  • Reference. Pointers to external systems (Linear projects, Grafana boards, etc.).

You can edit or delete any memory. Updates take effect immediately on the next interaction.

What's audited

  • Every Kai action, what tool, what arguments, what result.
  • Every email sent on your behalf.
  • Every MiniApp deploy, repo SHA, who triggered it, what the runtime mounted.
  • Every memory write and every override.

Records are retained for the lifetime of your workspace and exportable on request.
