Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: 2 May 2026

You have the right to request deletion of personal data that Kaiday holds about you (Art. 17 GDPR — right to erasure). This page explains the options available, including deletion of data obtained through Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads), Google, Microsoft, and other connected third-party services.

1. Delete your Kaiday account (self-service)

  1. Sign in at kaiday.com/login.
  2. Open Settings → Account → Danger zone.
  3. Click Delete account and confirm.

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, content, connector tokens, and AI agent memory from production systems within 30 days. Encrypted backups age out within a further 60 days. Records we are required to retain by law (e.g. invoices for tax purposes — 7 years under Dutch law) are kept in restricted archives until that legal period expires.

2. Disconnect a single connector

If you only want to remove data obtained from one third-party service while keeping your Kaiday account, open Settings → Connectors, select the connector, and click Disconnect & delete data. This revokes the OAuth token and deletes data Kaiday synced from that service.

3. Email request

If you cannot sign in, or if you are an end-user whose data was processed via a Kaiday customer’s workspace, send a deletion request to privacy@kaiday.com. Please include:

  • The email address associated with the data;
  • The third-party service(s) involved (e.g. Facebook user ID, Google account, Slack workspace);
  • Any reference to the workspace or customer organisation, if known.

We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, extendable by up to 60 days for complex requests, in line with Art. 12(3) GDPR.

4. Deleting data obtained from Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads)

If you used “Continue with Facebook” or connected a Meta-owned account, you can:

  • From Facebook: open Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, find “Kaiday”, and click Remove. Facebook will notify us, and we will delete the associated tokens and synced data within 30 days.
  • From Kaiday: follow the steps in §1 or §2 above.
  • By email:send a request as described in §3 with subject “Meta data deletion”.

Once a request is processed we will provide a confirmation code that you can verify by emailing privacy@kaiday.com.

5. Other rights

You may also exercise your rights of access, rectification, restriction, portability, and objection under the GDPR. See the Privacy Policy for details. You can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or with the supervisory authority of your EU member state.
